Little Off Center
The community is welcoming the opening of the newly renovated Little Off Center at 312 Center St., Jupiter.
This uniquely Jupiter space is next door to Jupiter’s best-kept secret, the Sims House. The Sims House is a recently saved historic home that is now a public restaurant, lending its catering service to the newly renovated Little Off Center space. Little Off Center offers vintage furniture and event space for life’s important moments.
The preservation work on this and the surrounding properties is apparent, with an event space large enough to accommodate a variety of events. The interior space has a unique collection of items, yet it is open and ready for a team to create the magical space you dream of for your event. A large outdoor patio for parties and overflow, with plenty of space for a band and your guests.
Felicia's experience as an event planner shines through as she welcomes us into the room. With a swag bag full of goodies, from @drops.of.Jupiter.Made @wildheritageskin @protienmami and more Felicia set the stage with a warm smile. The room was filled with soothing violin sounds from Dasha Hague on a corner stage and across the room a gelato cart filled another corner.
Across the room, Nina Tomasik of Nina's Fresh Bakery proudly shared the story of the cupcake robot while offering samples of the most delicious cupcakes. When asked, how did you choose the baking industry, or did it choose you? With a smile, Nina answered, “Because we are the sweetest.” With that line, she won the room. Everyone wanted to hear more about Nina’s Fresh Bakery and how the team makes magic happen with every batch.
Following the sound of music toward the back patio we had the privilege of meeting Darby, owner of Sugar Pie Lashes with Marina Kheyfets, a leading videographer, editor, and content creator in the Jupiter area as they posed for a picture with Tammy Napoli, owner of SkinHealth Studios in Palm Beach Gardens.
Tammy has a fascinating story about how she chose the skincare industry to conquer her own acne and Melasma. This turned into a passion for helping others with similar issues. This also evolved into a certified menopause skin specialist as well as creating an affordable medical-grade skincare line. We made our way to the back patio but not before stopping for a photo.
Out on the patio, we had a fulfilling conversation with Sarah Steele. The creator of the Facebook group Jupiter Mamas. Back in 2017 when she only had one daughter and was recovering from surgery, she started Facebook Jupiter Mamas as a fun hobby while healing. She wanted a place for mothers in Jupiter & surrounding areas to come together and support each other. A no-judgment and inclusive space for this wild ride we call motherhood! Focusing on recommendations, supporting local businesses, parenting advice, local events, etc. About a year or two into it Sarah realized how much she enjoyed it! With almost fifteen thousand local mom members, Sarah is committed to the original mission of mothers from many different fields and walks of life supporting each other.
Capturing the magic of this event was the responsibility of Maria Morillo photographer. Her hobby snowballed rapidly into an income that has sustained her continued dedication to succeed. This has a lot to do with the fact that she has a passion for finding the perfect balanced composition with good lighting. During our conversation, one thing she said stuck with us more so than anything, “It’s very satisfying to ‘understand the assignment’ and be able to deliver a fantastic product to happy clients.” her happiness in capturing the room was contagious. Seen below, enjoying the patio with Rick Rose, Palm Beach historian and author.
On the patio, we found Strong P.O.L.L.O, a Latin & American Gluten-Free Fusion catering service curated by Jupiter local Leeanne & Chef Ivan. They began with co-founder Leeanne’s passion and a master’s in hospitality combined with co-founder Ivan’s talent & creativity for cooking. Every dish is inspired by family recipes, with a fresh eye for all who experience the catering services from Miami to Port St. Lucie.
Just before the event wrapped, we had the pleasure of meeting several other area influencers:
The Limoncello Cart provided by Sip in Style transformed the space with elegance and a splash of bubbly. They specialize in beverage cart rentals, providing everything from a stylishly stocked cart to a full-service package complete with professional bartending and customized decor. Helping bring the party theme to life.
And wow, no party would be complete without a live painter. Kaitlin Simpson was capturing the event, and as she live painted she shared her story with those around. As we spoke she tells us “I chose to become a live event painter because there's something magical about capturing the energy and emotions of a moment as it unfolds in real time.” Her work can be found in many area homes as she paints events like weddings, engagement parties, corporate parties, baby showers, and so many other things.
As the party wrapped we were excited to have met so many influencers who were leading experts in their industry, living here in Jupiter. Our community has such a great variety of people and personalities embracing what Jupiter has become over the years. Little Off Center is a very appropriate name for the venue that will make any event a memorable one.
