Holiday Boat Parade

Nothing says “holiday magic” quite like the dazzling sight of boats dressed up with twinkling lights as they glide along the Intracoastal Waterway.

1. Holiday Boat Parade

Date: Saturday, December 7, 2024

Time: Boats arrive in Jupiter around 8 p.m.

Viewing Locations: Harbourside Place, Jupiter Riverwalk, Sawfish Bay Park, Inlet Village, Lagoon Bridge

Nothing says “holiday magic” quite like the dazzling sight of boats dressed up with twinkling lights as they glide along the Intracoastal Waterway.

Jupiter’s annual Holiday Boat Parade is a highlight of the season, bringing together families for a night of lights, cheer, and giving back. Make your way to one of the prime viewing spots, set up your blanket, and get ready for a parade that lights up the night. This year, spectators are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Little Smiles charity toy drive. Find toy drop-off locations at Town Hall, Jupiter Community Center, and Jupiter Police Department, or donate online for convenience.

*Tip from a local, watch an early movie. After the movie, walk over to Harborside for dinner or a desert, bring a blanket, and hang out under the Indiantown bridge for a great view of the parade.


2. Christmas Lights in Jupiter Heights

Date: Ongoing through December

Location: Jupiter Heights Neighborhood

If you love holiday lights, don’t miss the magical displays in the Jupiter Heights neighborhood! Take a drive or a leisurely stroll through the community, where each home is decked out with festive lights and whimsical decorations. This free activity is perfect for all ages, and you can enjoy it at your own pace.


3. Festive Family Film Screenings at Jupiter Library

Dates: December 11, 3 - 4:45p.m.: Elf (Rated PG)

December 15, 3 - 4:30 p.m.: The Muppet Christmas Carol (Rated G)

Location: Jupiter Branch Library, 705 Military Trail

For a cozy holiday experience, head to the Jupiter Library for some festive movie screenings that the whole family will enjoy! Gather together to watch the beloved holiday classic Elf on December 11, and then return on December 15 for the charming Muppet Christmas Carol. Seating is limited, so be sure to register early!


4. Holiday Extravaganza at the Jupiter Lighthouse

Date: December 14, 3 - 8p.m.

Location: Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum

Cost: Check website for details Enjoy an afternoon and evening of holiday fun at the Holiday Extravaganza at the iconic Jupiter Lighthouse. This family event is packed with activities, including holiday crafts, food trucks, and even a toy drive. As the sun sets, families can gather under the stars for a holiday movie screening that adds a magical touch to the evening. It’s a perfect way to enjoy some festive fun, local treats, and help make a difference in the community.


5. Zoo Lights at Palm Beach Zoo

Date: Through Jan. 5, 5:30 - 9p.m.

Location: Palm Beach Zoo, 1301 Summit Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL

Just a short drive from Jupiter, Zoo Lights at the Palm Beach Zoo offers an enchanting evening filled with lights, music, and holiday magic. Wander through the zoo as it’s transformed with thousands of sparkling lights, and let the kids enjoy the spectacular 24-foot RGB tree show. The evening also includes visits with Santa, s’mores by the fire, and seasonal treats. Tickets are available for premium and non-premium nights, so plan ahead to pick the best evening for your family.
